Ghaenat Steel Complex, DR Plant

● Project Description:

The scope of this project is engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of a 800,000 ton per Annum Direct Reduction (DR) Plant.

1- Engineering works:
Over 3000 engineering document is in the scope and more than 2000 of them is provided to date.

2- Supply of local equipment:
Total tonnage is 4000 tons and over 1300 tons is delivered to site to date.

3- Supply of foreign equipment:
Total tonnage is 1550 tons and over 100 tons is delivered to site to date.

4- Supply of steel structure:
Total tonnage is 2700 tons and over 1100 tons is delivered to site to date.

5- Civil Works:

Total volume of concrete works is over 45,000 m3. Done to date is 40,000 m3.
Total volume of excavation works is over 350,000 m3. Done to date is 300,000 m3.
Total volume of reinforcement works is over 4000 tons. Done todate is 3200 tons.
